This Privacy Policy explains how Aventura Mobile (“Aventura Mobile”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at aventuramobile.com or use any of the mobile applications we publish (each an “App”, and together with the website, the “Services”). It applies across every Aventura Mobile app and our website. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Who We Are

Aventura Mobile is an independent app studio that designs and publishes mobile applications, distributed primarily through the Apple App Store. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Aventura Mobile is the controller of the personal information processed through the Services. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what we need to provide and improve the Services. Depending on which Apps you use and how you interact with them, this may include:

  • Information you provide — such as your name and email address, the contents of messages you send us, and any details you enter when you create an account or use a feature within an App.
  • Information collected automatically — such as device model, operating system version, app version, language and region, in-app activity and feature usage, and crash and performance diagnostics. On our website we may also collect basic log data such as IP address and browser type.
  • Approximate location — some Apps may use coarse, device-provided location to deliver location-relevant features. We do not collect precise or background location unless an App clearly explains why and you grant permission.
  • Purchase information — when you buy an App, a subscription, or an in-app item, Apple processes the transaction. We receive confirmation and a transaction identifier from Apple, but we never receive your full payment-card details.
  • Information from third parties — such as analytics and crash-reporting providers, and, where you choose to use them, third-party sign-in providers.

Device Permissions

Some Apps may ask to access device features such as the camera, photo library, notifications, or location. These permissions are optional and are only requested when a feature needs them. You can review and change permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Services; to provide features and respond to support requests; to process purchases and manage subscriptions; to detect, prevent, and address crashes, fraud, and security issues; to personalise your experience; and to comply with our legal obligations. Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, your consent (where required, for example for certain analytics or tracking), and compliance with a legal obligation.

App Store Purchases and Subscriptions

All payments for our Apps and in-app purchases are handled by Apple through your App Store account. Aventura Mobile does not collect or store your payment-card number or billing-address details. Subscription management, billing history, and refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies.

Analytics and Diagnostics

We use analytics and crash-reporting to understand how our Apps are used and to fix problems. This may include Apple-provided app analytics and third-party tools configured to limit the data they collect. Wherever possible, we review this information in aggregate to improve our products rather than to identify individual users.

Advertising and Tracking

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. If an App ever uses tracking that requires it, we will ask for your permission first through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you are free to decline.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and measure performance. Most browsers let you control or disable cookies in their settings; doing so may affect how parts of the website function.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — with vendors who process information on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, and crash reporting) under obligations of confidentiality and only as needed to provide the Services.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aventura Mobile, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected under appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion; we do not sell personal information. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time — either from within the relevant App where that option is provided, or by emailing hello@aventuramobile.com. We will process verified requests in accordance with applicable law and Apple’s App Store requirements.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for general audiences and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If a specific App is designed for children, we will provide additional notices and comply with applicable laws such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services, including the Apple App Store. Those services’ use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where the changes are significant, provide additional notice through the Services.
